4th of July Cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 container of whipped icing 
  • Blue & red food coloring
  • Cupcake liners
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
Make the cake mix as directed on back of box. When you have the cake mix ready, separate the mixture into two bowls. Add the food coloring until you've reached your desired color. Mix well until the color is blended.


Fill the cupcake liners until 2/3 full. Bake as directed on cake box. 


When the cupcakes have finished baking and you can insert a toothpick and it is clean when removed, let the cupcakes cool for about 30 minutes.


After they are cool add your icing and top with strawberries and blueberries.

I made mine the day before I needed them and just put them in the fridge overnight and it worked out great!!
